Benefits of Personal training

Exercise can be one of the most rewarding activities someone can do for themselves. Staying active is key to any healthy lifestyle. Regular physical activity has been shown to reduce the risk of cardiovascular episodes, decreased stress, improved sleep, build confidence, and increase overall mood.

But just staying active might not be enough. For many people just getting started can be a huge first step. Then staying consistent and committed throughout the journey can be just as hard as getting started.

Also, you may have a lot of questions.

  • How long should you be working out?

  • Should you do this workout or that workout?

  • Should I do the same workout every day?

  • How long do I need to rest?

  • What’s the secret to building a better me?

If only there was some sort of expert to take you by the hand and guide you along the way…

Enter Personal trainers

Many people, even some trainers, think that the only goal of a personal trainer is to make their client sweat and be as sore as possible. While this may seem like the right path, this is not always the case. Unfortunately, training in this manner can lead to a lack of motivation to continue, minimal results, frustration, and even worse injury. We like to approach things a little differently. We view Personal training as a PERSONAL experience, just for you, not a cookie cutter workout pulled from a drawer.

When working with our trainers one-on-one you will learn about your body and how to exercise in the most effective and efficient way possible. Your initial fitness level will be assessed as well as any potential muscle or postural imbalances. Through specifically designed training we will progress together from correcting any imbalances into more challenging and effective movements.

We place great pride in having a chance to help people.

Is Working With a Personal Trainer Right for me?

This is a common question, here are a few reasons people will decide to work with a personal trainer.

Knowledge

How much cardio should I be doing? What the best way to lose belly fat? How long should I be working out for? What the best exercise for a beautiful derriere?

““You’ve got questions, We’ve got answers” – Radioshack” – Studio Fitness

But in all seriousness, there can be A LOT of questions surrounding your workouts. A knowledgeable professional can help you cut through all the clutter that masquerades as diet and exercise advice and get you the real answers to get you the best results.

Accountability

It’s one thing to say that you will work out, it’s another to schedule it with a trainer. When you make a commitment to another person you are more likely to follow through. Having someone to hold your feet to the fire even on those days when you “really don’t feel like it” can be a HUGE benefit in your transformation

Motivation

“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing. That’s why we recommend it daily…” Zig Ziglar. Often when we start on a new journey it can be very exciting. We start to imagine ourselves at the end of our journey; happy, healthy and full of energy. It’s invigorating. However, once we start down that path, sometimes we start to realize just how long and windy that road can be. After a day, weeks or months of effort sometimes it can be a real struggle to stay the course and keep moving forward. Having someone to help move you in the right direction is critical in any journeys success.

Intensity

Let’s be honest, we know it won’t be easy. If it was easy you would have done it already! But, how hard should you push? Where is the line? How far outside your comfort zone do you need to travel to start to see results? Our personal trainers can help you push further than you ever have before. You’re capable of great things, you just don’t know how great you truly are… Yet.

Fun Fact – You just burned 15 calories reading all of that!
